We are excited to be partnering with Walkom Constructions, a multi-award winning residential construction company who specialise in extensions and renovations.
  
This is a great an entry level role, for someone looking to grow and build their career in administration as a part of a close-knit, supportive and friendly team.
  
This is a full-time and permanent opportunity based in their Hamilton North office where you will be working whilst studying a Certificate III in Business Administration.
  
You’ll be responsible for:
  • Answering and directing incoming calls and handling enquiries
  • Taking messages and managing emails
  • Data entry, filing and scanning
  • Ordering stationery and office supplies
  • Assisting with social media content creation and scheduling posts  
  • Drafting and creating proposals
  • General administrative tasks as directed
Essentially you’ll have: 
  • Eligibility to complete a traineeship
  • Experience working in customer service roles such as retail or hospitality
  • An enthusiastic, motivated and positive attitude
  • An interest in the building industry – perhaps a love of renovations
  • A willingness to learn
  • Excellent presentation and proven reliability and punctuality
  • An ability to multi-task and adapt to change
  • An ability to problem solve and use initiative
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a confident and friendly phone manner
  • Competency in using computers – Mac preferred
