Due to a continual trend of winning projects across the region, a leading Civil Contractor is looking for Project Engineers & Site Engineers to join teams across Newcastle & Hunter Valley.

The role: 

As the Project Engineer or Site Engineer, you will report through to the Project Manager to coordinate on-site Civil Infrastructure works, playing a pivotal part in achieving project milestones. 

• Assist in the preparation of Project Management Plans, with both the Safety team and the Project Manager
• Develop and maintain construction programs 
• Review scope of works and allocate personnel accordingly
• Understand WHS practices and policies ensuring QA requirements are met 
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills and drive on-site team productivity 

About you: 

To be considered for this role, you will need to have demonstrated capacity and knowledge of the Civil Infrastructure sector, additionally you will have the following qualifications & experience, 

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management 
• Project knowledge of Subdivisions, Rail, Roads and Mining 
• Understanding of MS Office Suite & Computer literacy 
• Strong work ethic and a positive team member 
• Ability to built strong internal and external relationships
