We are working with a leading Construction team with secure ties to the Central Coast and Newcastle region, with a strong pipeline of projects across Commercial works including Schools, Healthcare, Hospitality, Medical and Offices. This is your opportunity to join a team with a positive team culture, focused on supporting your growth and development. 

The immediate requirement is for an experienced Contracts Administrator for the team. You will play an integral part in the successful delivery of projects, working alongside the Project Manager, you will support maintaining Construction programs, quality and budget expectations. 

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Review and approve subcontract documentation prior to issuing.
  • Ensure subcontractor statutory requirements are being met.
  • Progress claims – prepare and check payment authority.
  • Process subcontract variations in accordance with procedures.
  • Assess subcontract extension of time claims.
  • Finalisation of claims and procurement of Contract Value Agreements.
  • Prepares detailed working budgets and financial control system
  • Prepares and agrees on project financial objectives with the Project Manager.

Your experience: 

To be successful within this role, you will need to have the following key skills and experience, 

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role 
  • Knowledge of Commercial Construction projects, valued over $5M
  • Bachelor of Construction Management or equivalent experience
  • Strong work ethic and team orientated 
  • Excellent Communication skills, written and verbal
