The Company
We are proud to be partnering once again with this leading solutions-based organisation to recruit a talented Marketing and Communications Manager to join its innovative marketing team. HVTC has been established for 40 years and has a sparkling reputation for service delivery with its clients. This is a rare opportunity to join the organisation and shape the marketing and communications strategy for the entire company. This role will be based in their Rutherford head office.

The Role
The Group Manager for Marketing and Communications purpose is to design and execute an effective marketing and communications strategy across multiple brands and companies. Working across two organisations the Marketing and Communications Manager will be responsible for the delivery of innovative marketing and comms strategies and will work to ensure that the group’s promotional and positioning activities compliment the overarching and individual organisational objectives and values.  

You’ll be responsible for:
  • Designing, implementation and reporting on the delivery of the overarching marketing and communications strategy for the group and for each individual entity and brand.
  • Developing and leading an exciting and engaging plan for communications and marketing channel for each entity and brand.
  • Provide strategic advice and recommendations to the Board of directors and leadership teams on marketing and communication strategies.
  • Providing effective leadership to our diverse team of marketing professionals to drive the performance and outputs of the Marketing and Comms Team.
  • Lead the growth of the group by building and enhancing relationships with relevant industry and government bodies and with local businesses.
  • Other duties consistent with a key leadership position.
Essentially You’ll have:
  • A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, media or a related discipline
  • Previous experience working in a management or senior Marketing and Communications role
  • Strategic marketing and Communications skills
  • Exceptional copy writing and communication skills
  • Ability to manage stakeholder relationships
  • Highly organised, able to juggle multiple priorities successfully
  • The ability to travel to multiple sites/ offices.
 Desirable personal skills include:
  • Innovative, self-motivated, and self-managed.
  • Patient, flexible, adaptable, focused on the ‘big picture’.
  • Capable of working within a matrix reporting structure across two organisations.
  • High attention to detail.
