Monica Clare Recruitment are fortunate enough to be working with a successful, established GP practice to find their next Practice Manager. This is a rare opportunity to join a reputable medical centre who pride themselves on the quality service they provide to their patients. The position is permanent and full-time, 38 hour week, role. 

You’ll be responsible for:
  • Managing the bookkeeping of the practice including payroll using Xero
  • Leading the team of administrators and receptionists
  • Ensuring OHS, quality improvements and risk management is upheld
  • Carrying our human resource activity including performance management
  • Creating staff rosters
  • Making process and business improvements
  • Assisting the admin team with taking incoming calls, making bookings and liaising with patients
Essentially you will have the following:
  • Previous experience working as a practice manager in the health sector or relevant experience working in medical administration and ready to take the next step
  • Competent using software (ideally Medical Director, Xero and Pracsoft) or ability to pick up systems quickly
  • Friendly, approachable nature
  • Have a keen eye for process improvement and efficiencies
  • Strong communicator both written and verbal – able to deal with a range of people
  • Understanding of medical terminology
