About the Company:

Verve Partners are supporting a leading provider of innovative engineering solutions across major infrastructure sectors, who are committed to delivering excellence and becoming the trusted partner for industry and government clients alike. Due to the continued pipeline of work, they are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the established team. Working for the Senior PM, and with the support of 2 dedicated Project Coordinators you will be working closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time and on budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure project success.
  • Implement project controls and risk management methodologies to mitigate potential issues.
  • Successfully deliver projects in alignment with management methodologies and contractual terms.
  • Efficiently manage resources to meet project objectives.
  • Collaborate with department managers and project engineers to achieve key project milestones.
  • Ensure timely and professional communication with stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
  • Generate project management reports to track performance and deviations.
  • Evaluate team performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Complete all administrative and financial activities upon project completion.
  • Conduct project review and completion reports.
  • Build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance to engineers on project management best practices.
  • Pursue professional development to stay abreast of industry trends.
  • Enhance project management capabilities within the team.
  • Continuously improve project management processes based on industry best practices.
  • Serve as a primary interface with clients.
  • Address customer issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Support business development activities.
  • Establish and enforce departmental policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate standards and regulations.
  • Promote quality management and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Australian citizenship is required.
  • Membership in a professional institution/association preferred.
