ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting into the Managing Director, you will be a seasoned leader with a successful track record in managing sales and operational activities to achieve business targets and objectives.
  
Additionally, you will be accountable for achieving set budgets, maintaining and improving client engagement, driving process improvements as well as managing positive performance deliverables within the sales and operational divisions.

  
Key tasks and responsibilities:
  • Management of the Business Development team and Technicians.
  • In conjunction with the Managing Director, Design strategy and set goals for business growth.
  • Maintain budgets and optimise expenses.
  • Prepare monthly management reports including utilisation and quality service statistics.
  • Evaluate and improve operational and financial performance.
  • Maintain the highest levels of safety management across the business.
  • Oversee day to day operations at the Newcastle branch.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of operational procedures and guidelines to ensure that client orders, installation or routine activities are completed in a timely manner whilst maintaining guidelines and standards to ensure strong commercial margins.
  • Interact with Key Account customers to ensure are managed accordingly.
  • Run weekly toolbox meetings.
  • Assist operational management (Service and Installation) with the provision of manager level customer service and technical support.
  
 Qualifications, capabilities & experience required:
  • Certificate III Fire Inspection and Testing.
  • Advanced Fire Safety Management background.
  • Business Management qualifications.
  • Expert Vehicle Fire Suppression Systems knowledge.
  • Proven background effectively running a business and managing sales and operational staff across multiple sites.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Contractor Management experience.
