Our Client
Our clients have had success locally and on the national scale. Found over 25 years ago and offices in every state, they have a small team in Newcastle which allows for growth and a move towards a senior position for the right candidate.

The Opportunity
As a Structural Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients and their projects, including residential projects, commercial, industrial and high-end single dwelling houses in the Newcastle and Hunter area. You will also develop on your already high-quality documentation and advice. 
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Attend client meetings, site visits and inspections
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Uphold company standards and approach to ensure safety measures are executed
  • Work as a team player to ensure meeting deadlines

About You

The ideal candidate will be eager to provide the team and clients with input and direction on structural design, have a solid understanding and experience in working to Australian standards and have a strong ability in stakeholder management.
In addition, you must display the following
  • A Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • At least 3+ years relevant experience
  • Experience in structural design concepts
  • High level of written and verbal communication
