Experienced recruiter, Georgia Harvey meshes perfectly with what we’re all about!

Having worked for over fourteen years in the recruitment industry, Georgia brings to the team extensive industry knowledge, charisma and organisation as one of our newest Talent Specialists.

Georgia joined the team after spending many years in large and boutique recruitment agencies in Newcastle, previously working alongside our Recruitment Director, Simon Rutten.

 

Drawn to a recruitment agency like no other


One of the scarier moments for someone looking for a new position is finding the right business to move into. Meeting with the two powerhouses behind Monica Clare Recruitment – Monica and Clare – made it clear the business was the right fit for Georgia.

“When I first met Monica and Clare, their passion and dedication was infectious. I knew I wanted to be a part of their team. They certainly haven’t let me down”, Georgia said.

Having been with Monica Clare Recruitment since July, Georgia recalls that the team camaraderie and opportunity to grow add to the enjoyment of coming to work each day.

“A highlight has been the opportunity to share my knowledge and experience with my new colleagues. And, ofcourse, to have their expertise shared back,” Georgia said.

Above all, Georgia said that it’s all about “chasing that feeling” when it comes to the motivation behind her profession.

“It’s about that feeling you get when you first start applying for jobs, and then finally land a sought-after role! You’re full of excitement and anticipation for this next step in your life. That’s what we can do for our clients and candidates. We help create that feeling and sense of accomplishment” she said.

Georgia said that in her role at Monica Clare Recruitment, the ability to create opportunities for people is her main drive and inspiration.

 

Coming back full circle


With many years of experience behind her, it’s no surprise that Georgia has previously worked with our newest Recruitment Director, Simon Rutten.

Coming back full-circle, Georgia now works alongside Simon at Monica Clare Recruitment to help find the very best talent.

“I support Simon in a resourcing capacity to find local top talent. We work very closely together; it’s been fabulous to have that business relationship over the years. I love exploring the different markets and providing a powerful service as part of a great team,” Georgia said.

“We can really hit the ground running, because we know how each other operate.”

Georgia and Simon have hit the ground running. They have already helped a number of businesses and individuals find their perfect fit. And we are so glad to have them as part of our team!

Outside of work, Georgia enjoys socialising with family and friends and checking out all the delicious local foodie spots. One of her recommendations was the Grand Pavillion in Warners Bay, a hidden gem that is well worth discovering.
