Verve Partners, in collaboration with our client, are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join their team. With years of experience in their industry, our client is seeking a self-starting and outcome driven individual to take full ownership of this function.

The Position:
  
Working closely within the finance team, this position is primarily responsible for all-rounded accounting, reporting and compliance. You will bring your strong commercial experience to provide support to your leadership team and peers as required, with a focus on stakeholder engagement and communication across the business unit.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day accounting functions including invoicing, journals, and the general ledger.
  • Oversee all aspects of financial cash flow management, including budgets, forecasts, trends, and analysis.
  • Manage the company’s assets and provide strategic perspective for asset management and capital planning.
  • Manage the delivery, accuracy, and timeliness of the reporting of financial information and performance to various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Full responsibility for the monthly, quarterly and yearly compliance reporting.
  • Contribute towards the development of organisational accounting and finance strategies, policies, procedures, practices, and plans, considering the operating environment.
  • Ensure accurate financial accounting records and data integrity within the system.

The Successful Candidate:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Accounting or Business. 
  • CA or CPA qualified.
  • Advanced excel skills.
  • Strong business acumen and asset experience.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with key stakeholders.
